- The fee is locked when you send a proposal or receive an offer, and doesn't change for that contract.
- If a client is refunded, Upwork returns the fee it took on that amount.
- Direct Contracts (clients you bring) have a reduced fee; Any Hire and Upwork Payroll contracts have none.
