Format converters
Convert between YAML, JSON, CSV and XML, decode JWTs and Base64. Broken JSON is repaired before converting, and nothing leaves your browser.
YAML → JSON →
Paste YAML (a docker-compose file, Kubernetes manifest, GitHub Actions workflow or OpenAPI spec) and get formatted JSON. Anchors and aliases are expanded, and files with several --- documents become a JSON array.
JSON → YAML →
Paste JSON and get readable YAML for config files and Kubernetes manifests. Broken JSON is repaired automatically before converting.
JSON → CSV →
Paste a JSON array (or an API response with one inside) and download a CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets. Nested objects are flattened into columns like address.city.
CSV → JSON →
Paste CSV (or copy cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets) and get a JSON array of objects. The delimiter is detected for you, and numbers and booleans become real JSON types.
XML → JSON →
Paste XML (a SOAP or API response, an RSS feed, a sitemap, a pom.xml) and get JSON. Attributes are kept with an @ prefix and repeated elements become arrays.
JSON → XML →
Paste JSON and get well-formed XML. Keys that start with @ become attributes, and arrays become repeated elements.
Base64 encode / decode →
Decode Base64 to text (JSON is formatted automatically) or encode text to Base64. Handles emoji and non-English text, URL-safe Base64 and data: URLs.
JWT decoder →
Read a token's header and claims, with readable dates and expiry status.
